AVID Technical Resources is partnering with our client to find a Python Developer for a contract-to-hire opportunity in West Des Moines, IA. This is an opportunity to work for a company that transforming an industry and for your work to be a revenue generator. The candidate will be involved in all stages of product design and development thru the deployment of a scalable production system.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages
- Python and JavaScript development
- Experience ingesting large data sets
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Comfortability working with open-source technologies
- Proficiency in data modeling and API design
- TDD and ATDD experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a full-time role without sponsorship
